Title: Paralegal/solicitor

Location: Redbridge

Hours: Mond-Fri 9am -5pm

Salary: PAYE 20.27/Umbrella 25.47

Temporary: Currently for 13 weeks

Are you a skilled paralegal or solicitor looking to make a positive impact on individuals rights and well-being? Our client, a dynamic and growing organisation in need of your expertise, is currently seeking a proactive Paralegal/Solicitor to join their team and assist the Adults Lawyer with Deprivation of Liberty (DoL) cases.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Adults Lawyer to ensure timely and accurate completion of DoL cases

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparations

Assist in the drafting and reviewing of legal documents such as statements, affidavits, and applications

Liaise with external agencies, clients, and legal professionals to gather necessary information and evidence

Maintain comprehensive case files and ensure all documentation is up to date and organised

Requirements:

Degree in Law or equivalent qualification

Proven experience as a paralegal/solicitor or in a similar legal role

Strong knowledge of DoL legislation and procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
