Classroom Teaching Assistant

£83.50 - £90 per day (term time only)

There is a great opportunity to get involved in a local Abingdon Primary School, they are recruiting a Classroom Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start.

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm term time only. 40 weeks per year

Salary from £83.50 - £90 per day depending on experience and qualification.

Daily Commute required to Abingdon.

This role is term time only, no weekend or evening work.

ASAP startWhat the Classroom Teaching Assistant involves:

Support the Oxfordshire students in their KS1 & KS2 curriculum.

Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).

Create and encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Be able to adapt teaching styles, to suit the individual student. Essential when in 1:1 settings.

Collaborate with the excellent teachers, therapists, and other specialists to provide holistic support.

Responsible to monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.

Be a reliable member of the Teaching Assistant team to offer emotional and behavioural support to the Abingdon students when required.Benefits for the Classroom Teaching Assistant:
