Salary: £110 - £130 per day

Full/Part Time: Full Time (Part time role may be available)

We are working with a vibrant and high achieving secondary school in South East London who are seeking a DT Technician (Design and Technology). The school are looking for a DT Technician to join them ASAP or in September the role will be offered on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain DT equipment and materials for lessons, ensuring they are safe and ready for use.

Assist teachers and students during practical lessons, providing technical support and guidance.

Manage inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring the department is well-stocked.

Ensure all health and safety regulations are met, conducting regular checks and maintaining a safe working environment.

Support the setup and dismantling of equipment for DT projects and exhibitions.

Provide administrative support to the DT department, including maintaining records and documentation.

Contribute to the development of innovative teaching resources and practical projects. Requirements:

Previous experience as a DT Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Strong technical skills and a good understanding of DT equipment and materials.

Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
