Swanstaff is currently seeking a dedicated Assembly Operative to join our prestigious client in Sidcup, a leader in designing and manufacturing Complete Door Systems tailored for mental health and other challenging environments.

Role Summary:
As an Assembly Operative, you will support the Vision Panel Team in assembling bespoke vision panels for an international client base. The role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and an organised approach, with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble glass units according to specifications.
• Use various hand tools to ensure high-quality assembly.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain organised storage of materials, placing them in the correct racking area.
• Pick materials as needed and assist in gathering raw materials under supervision.
• Uphold the company's core values.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in assembly operations, in a manufacturing setting.
• Competency with hand tools.
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to team tasks.
• Reliable and able to meet deadlines with precision and accuracy.
• Background in metalwork or glasswork
• Engineering experience is preferred but not essential.
