As specialists in supplying teaching and support staff to secondary schools, we are committed to providing the best educational experience to students in the region.

Position: Sport Coach/Cover Supervisor

Location: Teesside, North Yorkshire

Salary: £100 per day

Start date: ASAP

Role and Responsibilities: As a Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor, you will have the exciting opportunity to transfer your passion for sports and coaching into the education sector. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons and supervising classroom activities during teacher absences.
• Maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages student learning and participation.
• Building rapport with students and promoting positive behaviour management.
• Supporting students with their learning, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
• Adhering to school policies and procedures while fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills: We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities:

• Previous experience as a sports coach or educator.
• Enthusiasm for working with young people and a genuine desire to contribute to their education and personal development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom activities effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings on both short and long-term placements.
