An outstanding Secondary School in the Borough of Croydon is seeking to fill the role of SEN Wellbeing Assistant, starting ASAP! This role involves working with class teachers and SENCOs to support young people with SEN/SEMH needs such as ASD, ADHD, SpLD, Global Development Delay and more.

This is the ideal position for those looking for a long-term, full-time vacancy and to gain further experience working with children. You will be tasked with providing 1:1 and small group support to those with SEN, as well as assisting class teachers to deliver material in the classroom.

• 105 - 110 per day
• Full-time, Long-Term role
• Monday - Friday role
• Based in Croydon
• ASAP start

SEN Wellbeing Assistant Role

• Provide support to pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
• To work with a team of hardworking, determined, and inclusive staff
• To support small groups with learning and development through sensory activities
• Assisting young people in terms of their wellbeing and mental health through 1:1 support

The Ideal SEN Wellbeing Assistant

• Previous experience working with young people with SEN/SEMH needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A graduate with strong academics
• An individual with a 'can-'do'attitude looking to get stuck in ASAP
