Hunter AHP have an exciting new opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant with an NVQ Level 2 qualification to join a highly respected NHS Hospital in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of excellent patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.

• Assist the pharmacy team in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services to hospital patients.
• Accurately dispense medication under the supervision of qualified pharmacy staff.
• Provide support with the preparation, labelling, and distribution of medicines.
• Assist with stock management, including ordering, storing, and maintaining medications.
• Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control.
• Provide customer service and advice to patients and hospital staff as necessary.
• Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (essential).
• Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Assistant, ideally within an NHS setting (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for patient care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

• Hourly Rate: £14 - £15 per hour, depending on experience.
