• Provide technical support to the pharmacy team in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications.
• Carry out clinical checks and ensure the safe and accurate delivery of medicines to patients.
• Assist with stock management, including ordering, storing, and managing medication supplies.
• Participate in the supply and dispensing of controlled drugs in accordance with NHS guidelines.
• Ensure the accurate maintenance of patient medication records and pharmacy inventory.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care.
• Provide support with audits, stock rotation, and quality control activities.

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent qualification) essential.
• Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in an NHS hospital setting (desirable).
• Strong knowledge of NHS pharmacy procedures and protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with patients and colleagues effectively.
