Job Description

We have an immediate role available for a yard operative, with transport, located just outside of Stowmarket, Suffolk!

Anyone from a labouring or yard working background could be a perfect fit for this position as we're looking for someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty and is experienced working with tools.

The starting pay for this position is 11.50 - 12ph however if you hold a valid counterbalance license then this could increase to 12.50ph+ (B2 being preferable). This will start on an initial temporary basis however if you pass probation this has the opportunity to turn into a permanent position!

The working hours for this role are 06:00 - 15:00, Monday to Friday with overtime available at increased rates of pay!

Yard Operative duties: -

• Proficient user of hand/power tools
• Labouring background is beneficial
• Physically fit
• Building and construction industry experience is preferable but not essential
• Own transport (due to the location)
• Forklift License (counterbalance) - Nonessential but you may get a higher rate if you have one

You will need to have your own mode of transport due to the remote location of this company!
