We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND specialist Teaching Assistant to support educators in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a SEND setting, particularly those with complex special educational needs, including autism. This role is crucial in helping to mentor and educate students, ensuring they receive the guidance and support necessary for their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance.

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to discuss student progress and any concerns.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting, is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Experience or training in special education or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
- A passion for mentoring and educating young learners, fostering their academic growth and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning needs.
