Job Opportunity: Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Gosport

Location: Gosport

Working Hours: Ideally Monday to Friday, full-time, but flexible options considered. Surgery hours are 08:00 – 18:00

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our team in Gosport. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and skilled clinician who is passionate about delivering responsive, safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients in a general practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial patient history-taking, clinical assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and evaluations of care plans.

- Make safe, clinical decisions and provide expert care, including acute medical condition assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

- Utilize a medical model to assess, diagnose, and prescribe for patients with acute medical needs.

- Employ a holistic approach to promote self-management, prevent recurrence, and make referrals to appropriate multidisciplinary team members.

- Participate in multi-disciplinary pathway development across health and social services to improve patient quality of life and support choices that keep care close to home.

Ideal Candidate:

- An experienced nurse with a proactive approach to patient care.

- Competent in clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills within a GP setting.

- Able to work collaboratively across healthcare and social services to influence patient care pathways.
