Behaviour Co-ordinator
A highly sought-after school in Harrow are looking to secure a Behaviour Co-ordinator to start in January 2025.

Behaviour Co-ordinator
The school are looking to secure a Behaviour Co-ordinator to start in January 2025 on an ongoing assignment. This will be a brand new role for the school and therefore it will be a real chance for the successful candidate to put a real stamp on this role and make it their own. The focus of this role will be student welfare, working with and supporting staff, co-ordinating behaviour systems and working closely with parents and careers.
The main duties will include:
To assist the Headteacher in the overall management and development of the school.
Under the reasonable direction of the Assistant Head and Deputy Head - Behaviour & Safeguarding carry
out the professional duties of a Behaviour Coordinator as set out below.
To work with SLT, Heads of Year and Faculty Leaders to oversee and implement the school's behaviour
and policy and to promote the school's core values.
To support the Assistant Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher Behaviour & Safeguarding in the
development of behaviour management across the school.
To support all staff in order to ensure high standards of behaviour around the school at all times, so that
the best possible standards of teaching and learning are achieved.
To work collaboratively with learners and parents/carers to promote positive behaviour among all
learners, and to help learners overcome barriers to learning such as challenging behaviour.
To coach, support and train staff to implement behaviour interventions.Experience needed:
Experience working with disadvantaged children in a school or similar setting
Experience running 1:1 behaviour sessions with children and training stuff on behaviour
Knowledge of equal opportunities and approached to Inclusion
