Job Opportunity: Business Analyst (Temporary)

Position: Business Analyst
Contract: Temporary, 1 Month contract, ASAP start
Possibility of Extension: Yes, based on performance
Pay Rate: 450.00 Per Day(PAYE)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: BS1 6AL

Job Purpose:

The West of England Combined Authority is seeking to appoint an interim Project Manager to lead professional environmental advice and guidance to the City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) program, working across the Environment and Infrastructure Directorates.

Typical involvement will include:

• Analyse and document existing cross-organisational processes and methodologies.
• Collect, understand, and translate business requirements.
• Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure clear definition and agreement of business requirements.
• Review document workflows, decision routes, sign-offs, etc.
• Develop and create business requirements, process flows, relevant templates, and examples.
• Develop process maps and workflows.
• Create new lean processes and new documentation that meet governance requirements in a regulated environment.
• Produce explanatory user guides.
• Review the options for improved automation of processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experienced business analyst who has worked in a range of complex environments.
• An understanding of project management methodology.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to effectively engage a range of stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to effectively process and synthesize complex information and present it in an accessible and clear way to inform business decisions.
• An understanding of the political environment in which the combined authority exists would be beneficial.
