An Accounts Assistant is sought to join a thriving industrial and manufacturing team, supporting the Accounting & Finance department with a variety of tasks, mainly in Leeds.

Description

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
• Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses
• Support the month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the Financial Controller and Accounting team on annual audit
• Manage financial documentation and data entry tasks
• Assist with other accounting projects as needed

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

• An education background in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
• Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records
• Good organisational skills for maintaining financial records and managing deadlines

Job Offer
