Year 4 Maternity Cover Teacher

Position: Full-Time Year 4 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Location: Small primary school in a North Chesterfield suburb

Contract Type: Fixed Term, Full Time (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)

Duration: Until at least July 2025, with the potential to extend until December 2025

Qualifications Required: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience: Lower Key Stage 2 teaching experience preferred

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 class teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a warm and well-established team of staff at our small, community-oriented primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning within the Year 4 class.

Key Requirements:

Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Lower Key Stage 2 is essential
