Position: Mobile Caretaker
Location: Medway
Duration: Currently now until February but could be extended (temp)
Hours: Mon - Fri - 8:00am - 4:00pm - 1 hour lunch - 35 hours paid
Salary: 16.43 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)

Are you a dedicated and reliable individual with a clean UK driving licence (up to 6 points accepted)? Join our team as a Van Driver/Caretaker and help maintain a safe and clean environment in the Medway areas including Lewisham.

You will need to drive a transit-sized van and have a full UK driving licence (manual) with 0-6 points.

Van and fuel card provided.

Key Responsibilities (Mostly external works):

• Litter Picking: Keep outdoor areas clean and tidy by regularly collecting litter.
• Bin Store Management: Ensure bin stores are clean and ready for scheduled collection.
• Internal Works: Perform tasks on-site, including minor repairs, maintenance, and cleaning.
• Repairs & Bulk Collection: Carry out basic repairs (putting up signage, replacing lightbulbs, etc.) and collect bulk items as needed.
• Enquiry Response: Address inquiries by removing trip hazards and performing basic DIY tasks such as changing locks and fitting notice boards.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence (up to 6 points accepted)
• Basic DIY skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
