Tripod is currently recruiting for Qualified Social Workers to join the Duty and Assessment team at Walsall Council

Immediate start with ongoing contract. 33.30 per hour. Hybrid working

Key Responsibilities:

• Initial Assessments: Screen and assess the needs of children and families referred to the service.
• Child Protection: Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans for children at risk.
• Duty Work: Respond to urgent cases and manage crisis situations as the first point of contact.
• Case Management: Manage a caseload, develop care plans, and review cases regularly.
• Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work with health, education, and other professionals to support families.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate case records and prepare reports as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England
• Background in child protection, safeguarding, and family assessment.
• Strong communication, analytical abilities, and ability to manage complex cases.
