Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles and techniques, with expertise in clay drainage, as well as possess a valid CSCS card. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various groundwork tasks to support the successful completion of construction projects.

Responsibilities

Carry out all aspects of groundworks including excavation, backfilling, and the installation of clay drainage systems.

Operate and maintain various hand and power tools required for groundwork tasks.

Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Work collaboratively with the construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Complete all assigned tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Qualifications

Valid CSCS card.

Proven experience in carrying out groundworks and clay drainage installations.

Solid understanding of construction principles and techniques.

Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Day-to-day

Daily coordination with the construction team to ensure seamless workflow.

Physical labor involving lifting, carrying, and operating heavy equipment.

Operating and maintaining various tools and equipment.

Following health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.Confined Space & Harness Training will be available once successfully started on site
