Year 4 Teacher (2 Days per Week)

Salary: £160 - £220 per day (commensurate with experience)

Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (2 days per week, Thursdays and Fridays)

A vibrant and successful school in Hayes is seeking a Year 4 teacher for a part-time, job share position starting after the February half-term in 2025. Job Overview:

The school is looking for a passionate Year 4 teacher to join a job share arrangement, covering two days a week on Thursdays and Fridays. You will work collaboratively with the other Year 4 teacher to plan and deliver lessons, ensuring a high standard of education is maintained. This is a wonderful opportunity for teachers looking for a flexible, part-time role in a supportive school community.

The contract has the potential to become permanent at the end of the academic year in July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Year 4, in line with the school's curriculum.

Collaborating with the other Year 4 teacher to plan and manage classroom activities effectively.

Promoting high standards of learning, particularly in literacy and numeracy.

Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment for all students.

Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and promoting the school's values.Requirements:

Experience in teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2), preferably with Year 4.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.

Recent teaching experience (within the last 5 years).

Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly in English and Maths.

A creative, enthusiastic, and organized approach to teaching.

A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.How to Apply:
