TeacherActive are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join schools across the Nottingham area. You will play a crucial part in the learning and development of young children in either a EYFS, KS1 or KS2 environment. We can offer you specific roles to suit your needs, whether it’s full time, part time, temporary, permanent or just day to day supply cover, we will have the placement for you!

To be considered for any of these positions, you must either hold a teaching assistant or childcare qualification. We are looking for candidates that have had experience in a school environment, as this is essential to ensure you can hit the ground running in your new role. Your main role will be to support the teacher in the classroom, with a mixture of general teaching assistant help, small groups and 1:1.

The successful learning support assistant will have:

A passion for supporting children in a classroom

Teaching assistant qualification or equivalent

Experienced, friendly and warm personality

Happy working 1:1 and in small groups
