English Teacher needed in St Helens

TeacherActive are looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher for a Secondary School in St Helens to enrich the learning and development of their students. They are looking for an English teacher who is able to create engaging and innovative lesson plans, demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skills and can teach up to KS4.

The position will include planning and assessment, under the guidance of the Head of Department. The successful English Teacher will also be expected to share and uphold the same core values of the school and be a positive role model to the students they are teaching.

The successful English teacher needs to have:

QTS with a English specialism

Experience teaching English up to KS5 / Key Stage 5

A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with

A DBS on the update service
