The Role:

As a Maths Teacher at our Pupil Referral Unit, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and GCSE students. You will work with small classes, allowing for personalized instruction and building strong relationships with your students. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging and effective Maths lessons.

Assessing and tracking student progress.

Providing one-on-one support to students who may have additional learning needs.

Creating a positive and nurturing classroom environment.

Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge in Maths.

Experience teaching KS3 and GCSE Maths.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
