Vacancy Brief:

• The role is that of a Building Legal Repairs Surveyor; this is a 3-month contract with the view to an extension.
• This is a full-time vacancy; 35 hours a week.
• Monday Friday 9 5 pm
• Pay rate for this vacancy is £31.89 per hour on PAYE OR £41.76 Umbrella.
• Based in London, N7.

The Responsibilities:

• As a Building Legal Repairs Surveyor, you will be tasked with carrying out site inspections and investigations, as necessary to produce detailed specifications of works using the national schedule of rates and composite values. Prepare estimates, feasibility studies, plans, sketches and drawings as may be necessary.
• In your job role as a Building Legal Repairs Surveyor, as and when required, you will provide technical support/advice to colleagues and give evidence in court as an expert witness.
• An important aspect of your role will be to assist the Senior Legal Repair Surveyor in the development of policies and procedures for the team.
• As a Building Legal Repairs Surveyor, you will be proficient in the correct diagnosis of building failures and to this end be competent in the use of devices, aids and instruments for the purpose of making assessments and diagnoses.
• Furthermore, as and when required, you will act in the capacity of an expert witness in the preparation of reports and scott schedules, the giving of evidence in court, and the providing of advice. Attend all necessary meetings in association with this role.
