Are You an Experienced SLINGER looking for an exciting Job Opportunity?

DK Recruitment is seeking trained and qualified Slingers looking for a 12 month contract for our client at Devonport Dockyard. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Fleet Time & Upkeep projects within the Warships & Submarine Business units, with potential opportunities to work on other projects as well.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Must have extensive on the job experience. Experience with Ships and/or Submarines is desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge: Understanding of the clients role as a business is necessary, with a desirable understanding of procedures and processes.
• Safety: Positive attitude towards Health and Safety, with a willingness to challenge unsafe acts.
• Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Recognised slinging qualifications include:

• NVQ2 Moving of Loads
• NPORS402 Slinger Signaller
• CPCS A40 / Blue
• Opito

Additional Requirements:

• Must hold current BPSS Clearance.
• Candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment prior to the offer of employment.
