About the School:

Supply Desk are working with an improving secondary school in the Hastings area with improving standards across Key Stages and a strong emphasis of respect and inclusivity. They are looking to appoint a committed and passionate Teacher of English to deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons for both Key Stage 3 and 4. This role is long-term and full-time, with a view for the right candidate to turn permanent.

About the role:

The role is a full-time opportunity, providing lessons in English and English Literature at all Key Stages, contributing to the school s promising academic performance. Your lessons will deliver on the National Curriculum and the school s dedicated teaching framework. Dedicated time for planning and marking is also provided. The school are looking for someone with thorough and up-to-date subject knowledge, good classroom management and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus.
• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
• Be a committed team player
• Proven track record of high attainment in results
• Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content
• Have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills
• Enthusiastic in contributing to the wider school community in and out of the classroom
