About the School:

Supply Desk are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Haywards Heath that sets high expectations for students and fosters a welcoming community spirit. They are looking to appoint a dynamic and passionate Teacher of Religious Education. This role is long-term and full-time, with a view to turning permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of engaging RE lessons, fostering understanding and appreciation for different cultures.
• Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and academic excellence.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback for students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximise student achievement, utilising excellent resources available.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in relevant field. Teaching qualification desirable but not necessary.
• Previous experience teaching Religious Education is a plus.
• In-depth curriculum knowledge, and knowledge religions and cultural nuances across faiths.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic educational environment.
