The Role

As a Foreman, you will take charge of managing and guiding site teams involved in deep drainage utilities work. Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the workforce, ensuring effective man-management and maintaining team motivation.

* Oversee deep drainage and utilities works, ensuring tasks are performed with precision and adherence to specifications.

* Uphold the highest standards of health and safety compliance, conducting toolbox talks and ensuring all personnel follow protocols.

* Monitor progress against schedules, prioritizing quality over speed.

* Identify and mitigate risks on-site, providing solutions to challenges as they arise.

* Communicate effectively with project managers, site engineers, and operatives to ensure smooth operations.

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience as a Foreman in deep drainage and utilities projects.

* A strong commitment to health and safety in high-risk environments.

* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure work quality.

* Leadership skills with a focus on team management and maintaining workforce morale.

* Strong knowledge of construction methods and utilities work, particularly within deep drainage.

* Valid CSCS card, SMSTS or SSSTS qualification, and other relevant health and safety certifications.
