About the role: We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and creative SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive primary school in Camden. This full-time, long-term role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs, from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher, providing tailored support to students with varying needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), and sensory and physical impairments. You'll play an essential role in helping each child access the curriculum, develop key life skills, and reach their full potential. This position requires a compassionate, flexible approach and the ability to connect with children who benefit from a personalised, thoughtful teaching style.

• Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Provide 1:1 or small-group support, adapting resources to suit diverse learning styles and needs.
• Support students with sensory and physical impairments, ensuring their comfort, accessibility, and inclusion in all activities.
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence, independence, and self-esteem.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor progress, set achievable goals, and ensure each child’s development.
