Year 6 Teaching Assistant

Location: London Borough of Haringey

Start Date: January 2025

Daily Rate: £90-£95 p/day, with a pay rise after 12 weeks

Sanza Teaching Agency is proud to partner with a dynamic primary school in Haringey in their search for a dedicated Year 6 Teaching Assistant.

About the Role:

As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 support for pupils with special educational needs.

Deliver small group interventions to enhance learning outcomes.

Help prepare and support pupils for Year 6 SATs.

Work closely with teachers to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

Play a key role in improving the learning experience for all pupils, particularly those with SEND.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience supporting children within a classroom setting.

Strong behaviour management skills.

Experience working with SEND pupils (essential).

Experience supporting pupils in Year 6 (preferred but not essential).

A proactive, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting children.
