We are seeking a Band 5 Locum Pharmacy Technician to join a dedicated pharmacy team at an NHS hospital in Hampshire. This is a dispensary-based role, offering a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the hospital pharmacy department.

• Position: Band 5 Locum Pharmacy Technician
• Location: NHS Hospital, Hampshire
• Role: Dispensary-based
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (with 30-minute lunch break)
• Contract: 3-6 month locum contract
• Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

• Carry out dispensing and preparation of medications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide pharmaceutical support to clinical teams and patients.
• Assist with stock management and ensure medications are stored and distributed correctly.
• Ensure all dispensing processes meet NHS and hospital standards.
• Work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Must be a GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience: Previous experience working in a dispensary role, preferably within an NHS hospital, is desirable.
• Skills: Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work in a busy environment.
