Job Description

Copello are looking for Test Analyst to join a large organisation on a large transformation project for an initial 6 month contract.

The position will play a part in the planning and execution of testing within the finance element of the project.

As the Test Analyst the responsibilities will be:

• Review and proposal of changes to requirements to ensure they are testable.
• Assist in the creation and execution of test plans.
• Creation of test cases as well as reviewing test cases developed by other testers.
• Assist with test data creation and other test cycle set-up activities.
• Execution of test cases, capture of relevant test evidence.
• Raising, reviewing, and retesting of defects.
• Assist with test reporting including the upkeep of Jira filters and dashboards.
• Regular reporting on Change Requests using appropriate tools and reports such as Jira x-ray, Visio.

The successful Test Analyst will require the following skills and experience:

• Demonstratable manual UAT experience.
• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation holder.
• Able to create test cases and test data from requirements documentation.
• Experienced working with Jira X-ray.
• Analytical problem solver with strong attention to detail.
• Able to build effective relationships with all areas of the business.
• Self-motivated with good organisational and planning skills.
• Methodical in approach and good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

This role will require the Test Analyst to work on a hybrid pattern, 50/50 home/office working pattern.

This position is offering up to 300 per day (inside IR35).
