About the School:

Supply Desk are working with a popular secondary school in Hastings, known for its strong attainment across Key Stages and its welcoming culture of respect and inclusivity. They are seeking to appoint a committed and passionate Teacher of Design Technology to deliver enthusiastic, engaging, and enriching lessons. This role is long-term and full-time, with the potential for the right candidate to secure a permanent position.

About the role:

This is a full-time opportunity, delivering Design Technology lessons for primarily Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to the school s strong academic performance. Your lessons will align with the National Curriculum and the school s proven teaching framework. Dedicated time for planning and marking is provided. The school is looking for a candidate with thorough and up-to-date subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus.
• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
• Be a committed team player
• Proven track record of high attainment in results
• Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content
• Have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills
• Enthusiastic in contributing to the wider school community in and out of the classroom
