About the role:

• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of students.
• Focus on academic, social, and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver tailored intervention plans.
• Monitor student progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help students build confidence and overcome challenges.
• Support classroom activities and assist in creating engaging resources.

The ideal candidate must:

• Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
• An enhanced DBS or willing to purchase one
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt and tailor support to meet individual learning needs.
• Team player with a collaborative approach to working with teachers and staff.
• Passionate about helping students overcome challenges and achieve their potential.
