Job Description

Location: Broughton, Chester (2-3 days per week onsite)

Duration: 6 month contract

Rate: £53.50ph UMB (Inside IR35)

Role:

Our client, a prominent player in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Configuration & Data Manager for a contract position in the aerospace industry. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, requiring 2-3 days on-site in Broughton, and is set for an initial duration of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the Configuration and Data Management team

Ensuring effective Change Management across the projects

Supporting Release and Deployment Management for hardware and documents

Introducing and managing a new configuration management system

Planning and estimating Configuration Management work

Engaging in process improvement initiatives

Providing training and mentoring to team members

Building strong relationships with project teams, customers, and peers

Job Requirements:

Experience in providing configuration management on aerospace projects

Experience working with modifications to aerospace products

Understanding of data management principles

Familiarity with Defence Hardware projects is advantageous

Excellent communication and leadership skills
