Primary Teacher - Year 3

Vacancy Details: Primary Teacher (Year 3 Maternity Cover)

Salary: M1- M6 £162.30 - £211.96 per day - FTE

Commencing: January 2025

Contract length: Fulltime, 1 Year ( possibility of going perm in September 25)

We are working with a warm and welcoming primary school located in the heart of Southend On Sea, recently graded Good in all areas by Ofsted. The school is a vibrant, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to grow, learn, and thrive both academically and personally.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher - Year 3 to join our team. The role is flexible, and the school are happy to consider candidates looking for a full-time position. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, fostering a love of learning, and supporting the development of every child in your class.

Position Details for Primary Teacher - Year 3:

* Planning and delivering tailored lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

* Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing strategies to support their individual needs.

* Collaborating with colleagues to create a cohesive and stimulating learning environment, promoting teamwork and a positive school ethos.

* Establishing professional relationships with parents and caregivers, effectively communicating student progress and addressing concerns or queries.

* Contributing to the wider school community, engaging in extracurricular activities, and supporting school events.

Requirements for Primary Teacher - Year 3:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.

* Have experience teaching KS2 (Ideally Year 3)

* Show a passion for education and a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

* Be adaptable, resilient, and able to work effectively within a dynamic classroom setting.
