Hourly Rate: £18 per hour PAYE

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team on a 9-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, placing orders, and supporting the operational supply chain using an MRP system.

Key Responsibilities

Procure materials to meet production requirements.

Prepare supply chain documentation and quotations.

Assist the Senior Buyer in supplier selection.

Conduct daily reviews of MRP systems.

Build and maintain vendor relationships to enhance Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance.

Raise and manage Purchase Orders in alignment with production schedules.

Required Skills and Abilities

Strong communication skills, capable of interacting at all levels.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of Access is an advantage.

Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems for BOM, scheduling, forecast analysis, and capacity planning.

Exceptional attention to detail.
