Job Advert: Specialist SEN Learning Support Assistant (1:1)
Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk
Hours: 8:30am 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are seeking a Specialist SEN Learning Support Assistant (1:1) to work with a sociable Year 6 child with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at our inclusive primary school in Felixstowe, Suffolk.

The Role:

As a Specialist SEN Learning Support Assistant (1:1), you will:

• Provide personalised support to a Year 6 child, helping them navigate the school day and develop confidence in their abilities.
• Build a trusting relationship with the child, offering emotional support and promoting positive behaviour.
• Assist in the child s learning journey, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum.
• Work closely with teaching staff to implement strategies tailored to the child s needs.
• Promote a sense of belonging and inclusivity, ensuring the child feels valued and supported within the school community.
