Dunbar Education is delighted to partner with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wolverhampton, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child with additional needs.

• Work closely with a child who has specific learning and developmental needs, offering tailored support to enable their progress and inclusion.
• Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and work collaboratively with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals.
• Support the child in both academic and social development, fostering a nurturing and positive environment.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to staff and parents.

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN-specific training) is desirable but not essential.
