Year 1 Teacher - Full-Time Role at Two-Form Entry Primary School in Croydon

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced primary school teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? A friendly and supportive two-form entry primary school in Croydon is seeking a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join their team and make a difference in the lives of their young learners.

Position: Year 1 Teacher (Full-Time)

Location: Croydon

Pay: £186.73 - £248.88 per day

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing students for their Key Stage 1 assessments while fostering a love for learning in an engaging and supportive classroom environment. Working collaboratively with the parallel Year 2 teacher, you'll share resources, ideas, and best practices to ensure excellence across the year group.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum.

Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

Preparing students for their end-of-Key Stage 1 assessments with confidence.

Maintaining strong communication with parents and colleagues.

Contributing to the wider school community and participating in extracurricular activities as needed.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

Experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment framework.

A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.

A team player who values collaboration and shared success.
