Salary: 400 - 500 per day (depending on experience)

The Senior Agent role

I'm looking for a Senior Agent who is looking to work with a leading civil engineering contractor who have a track record in delivering excellent civils water infrastructure projects. Following another large contract award, If you're from an engineering background currently and looking to make a step up, or you may be a Site Agent who's looking to challenge themselves working on diverse and complex water infrastructure projects then do apply!

The business are expanding their delivery of projects across Severn Trent's AMP7 framework and have an opening for a Senior Agent to join their team. As a Senior Agent you'll be working with the Project Delivery team working on a multi-million pound water improvement project in Worcester.

As a Senior Agent you'll assist in leading the project from a delivery standpoint. You'll have a solid track record in delivering projects from contract award through to completion - achieving acceptable financial outcomes whilst adhering to the quality, safety and environmental policies. You'll have experience working as part of a project team and also directing subcontractor teams.

Roles and responsibilities of the Senior Agent

• Allocation of resource and management of Site staff.
• Ensuring safe systems of work and the Company Safety Policy are practised.
• Enforcement and monitoring of the Division's Quality Assurance and Environmental systems.
• Management of projects/contracts.
• Communication at all levels regarding progress of projects.
• Line management/supervision for Sub Agents & General Foreman.
• Indirectly supervise Site Engineer, Foreman and Gangers.

The right Senior Agent will have

• Civil Engineering/Construction management degree
• Background in delivery of water infrastructure orientated projects with H & S Management exposure.
• Possesses proven experience on challenging and diverse projects, water experience highly desirable.
• Proven experience from engineering background demonstrating progress to Site Agent through career development with both theoretical and practical experience.
• Site qualifications: CSCS card, SMSTS (5 day), First Aid at Work (4 day), National Water Hygiene card
