Site Engineer - Highways Projects - Godstone

A reputable civil engineering firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join our team working on exciting highway projects in the Godstone area.

About the Role:

As Site Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of critical highway infrastructure projects. You will oversee all aspects of construction, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, safety protocols, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site operations, including setting out, surveying, and construction supervision.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for all site personnel.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and quality control documentation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to overcome technical challenges.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Hold a relevant engineering qualification (e.g., HND, BSc, or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
• Possess a minimum of number years of experience as a Site Engineer in the highways sector, with a strong understanding of road construction and maintenance techniques.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills in surveying, setting out, and construction management.
• Be proficient in relevant software applications such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
• Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Be a highly organised individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality.
