Food Production Operative (Part-Time Position)

Challenge-trg Recruitment are looking for several Food Production Operatives to work Weekends from Friday until Sunday, in a large food production and distribution site in Rogerstone, Newport NP10 9SA.

Location: Rogerstone Newport NP10 9SA - FREE transport from South Wales.

Your pay rate as a Food Production Operative:

• Standard Days: 11.67
• Overtime Day Rate: 17.51
• Standard Nights: 12.20
• Overtime Night rate: 18.30
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday night 12.49

As a Food Production Operative, you will be working from either 07:00am to 18:00pm OR 23:00pm to 07:00am

As a Food Production Operative, you will be working within a food production environment and your duties will be as follows:

• Packing of customer product as per required specification
• Basic Quality checks of product
• General production duties
• Some lifting of product
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to
• To work effectively and safely in line with H&S requirements
• This is a fast-moving environment, all team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the hygiene regulations at all times
• General Duties outlined by your shift supervisor

As a Food Production Operative, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Start immediately and are looking for long-term work
• Previous food production experience is not needed
• Able to work up to 12 hours per shift
• You will be able to travel to NP10 9SA
