Key Responsibilities:

• Student Support: Assist individual students or small groups with learning tasks, promoting their engagement and understanding.
• Classroom Management: Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, supporting behavior management strategies as needed.
• Resource Preparation: Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources for lessons, ensuring everything is ready for effective teaching.
• Instructional Assistance: Support teachers in delivering lessons, including setting up activities, providing feedback, and facilitating discussions.
• Assessment Support: Assist in the assessment of student progress and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance.
• Communication: Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff, providing updates on student progress as appropriate.
• Professional Development: Engage in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to supporting student learning.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student development.
