As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who have autism and associated conditions, assisting them both one-on-one and in small group settings. Application Requirements:
• A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
• Experience working with children, particularly those with autism, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach to challenges.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting students with autism and related conditions in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage trust and confidence.
• Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Facilitating learning through tailored activities and resources.
• Collaborating with teachers and specialists to create an inclusive learning environment.
