Job Description

A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting a Road Freight Trainee to join their team. This is a 6-month maternity FTC position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying £22,308 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties include but are not limited to:

Creating and processing of Groupage shipments on your assigned services

Ensuring client's needs and expectations are met

Assisting in customs clearance of exports and imports

Invoicing for in a timely manner

Obtaining and preparing of documents for our Customs team to process

Filing

Liaising with our overseas agents

Providing excellent Customer Service, using emails and phones as appropriate

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Road Freight Trainee position:

1+ years office, admin and secretarial experience

Transport/Logistics experience would be beneficial but not essential

Excellent telephone manner

Proficient in using the Microsoft packages
