Prospero Education is seeking an experienced Year 1 Teacher.

Prospero Education is recruiting on behalf of a fantastic primary school in Saltley, Birmingham, which is looking for an experienced Year 1 Teacher to join their team. Location - Selly Oak
Position - Year 1 Primary Teacher
Type of work - Class Teacher - planning, preparation, marking, parents evenings etc
Contract or position start date - ASAP or January 2025
Duration - 2 terms until end of the academic year July 2025
Contract or position end date (if applicable) - July 2025
Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary
Full time/part time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - Negotiable
Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
QTS and Experience: It is essential that you have QTS and experience teaching in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role.
Safeguarding: Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative. If you haven't completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months, Prospero Teaching can provide you with a free course.
To be eligible for any job with Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child-related references that cover at least the last two years.
