Vision for Education are recruiting for a Behaviour Support Assistant on a part-time basis for a primary school, in Ticehurst, to start ASAP dependent on requirements. The hours are 8:30-12:30 Mon-Fri.

We have a part-time Behaviour Support Assistant vacancy for a primary school in Ticehurst, supporting a child to manage their behaviour and supporting them with learning.
You will be required to support in class, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, using behaviour management skills in assisting pupils in overcoming barriers to learning.
Pupils are all aged 4-11 with some students having EHCPs for Special Educational Needs & Disabilities and/or Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs (SEMH) as well as associated needs such as Autism or ADHD.
We are looking for an individual who has a passion for creating fun and engaging ways to support pupils and help them find school a safe, positive and enjoyable place to learn!
About the schoolVision for Education are seeking an enthusiastic Behaviour Support Assistant to work at a wonderful primary school in Ticehurst to support a child in Year 3. The school are looking to hire someone who is enthusiastic, positive, hard-working, flexible and a conscientious person. The successful applicant will be expected to work effectively in any part of the school to help teaching staff provide excellent support and learning opportunities for our children, supporting in class, in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. The candidate will be expected to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 for whole class support when needed and in intervention groups. You will mainly be based with a child in year 3 but may be used to support across the school, if the child is absent.
