Senior Back end Java Developer

An exciting chance to join a growing payments solutions start-up as a Senior Back end Java Developer working on high-impact, innovative projects. This role focuses on building scalable, secure backend systems that power cutting-edge payment technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and implement robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.

Develop and manage RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integrations across platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Optimize and maintain relational databases, ensuring high performance and scalability.

Lead deployments using Docker and support cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure.

Key Skills

Java Development: 6+ years of hands-on experience with backend development.

Frameworks: Proficiency in Spring Boot for application design.

API Development: Expertise in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.

Database Management: Solid knowledge of SQL databases, including optimization techniques.

Containerization: Strong experience with Docker for application deployment.

Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS or Azure environments.

Exposure to Kotlin is a bonus.
