Delivery Manager (Government Digital Services)

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager for an exciting 6-month contract opportunity offered as an engagement outside-IR35.

In this role, you will lead the delivery of digital services within a Government Digital Services (GDS) framework, focusing on Beta phase implementation.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered services while adhering to GDS standards.

This is a critical role for someone passionate about digital transformation in the public sector and who can manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Delivery Manager on complex digital transformation projects, ideally within the public sector or government
• Strong experience delivering digital services in the Beta phase, with an in-depth understanding of the Government Digital Service (GDS) framework
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), with experience running Agile ceremonies and managing sprint cycles
• Experience with large-scale public sector or cross-government digital transformation initiatives and familiarity with digital service design, user research and usability testing
• Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar tools
