Main Responsibilities:
Ensuring quality standards are maintained on all customer products produced on the production line.
Day to day maintenance of production equipment.
Ensuring all procedures/instructions etc. are adhered to, including the completion of all required documentation.
Working on production lines as the need is required.
Other duties as assigned.Level of Authority:
In general, staff are given authority to fulfil their tasks and responsibilities. However, where appropriate, specific authorities are detailed below.
Authority to stop production if there is any indication of non-conforming product.Skill Set Required:
Knowledge of all relevant company processes.
Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
Knowledge of electrical installation to a basic level.
Knowledge of pneumatic systems to a basic level.
Ability to work with other staff as part of a team.
Ability to use specialised machinery.
Knowledge of company objectives for the area.
An understanding of the importance and relevance of the role and how non-conformances will affect customers.
A practical knowledge of Health and Safety in and around the working environs.
